Influenza and knitting
This weekend was the worst..I was so sick with the FLU. It was so nasty...I was tired and achy like I was going to die. From about Friday evening till about 6pm today Monday I was in my pjs on my bed or on the couch. I left my house today to go to the InstaCare Clinic and get some meds.
So somewhere between all the sickness I found time to knit my first hat...a new born hat.
My only acommplishment this weekend was teaching myself how to knit in the round with double pointed knitting needles.

Ryan's cruiser
Today Ryan and I stayed home from work. I had a sore throat this morning and ended up calling in sick. By mid afternoon we had decided to go to the movies and on our way out I had the idea of going to the car dealership to find out about the status of Ryan's car.
Spencer wasn't in when we first got there but we were told that one of the FJ pre-orders had fallen through the night before (some older lady decided she didn't want the FJ because of "bad" rear visibility) and that Ryan was the next on the list...They HAD a BLACK FJ for Ryan if he wanted it.
Ryan got his ride finally. (I never got to take a picture of the mileage reader- Ryan told me it had 14 miles when he first turned it on.) The timing was so perfect...Ryan drove it off the lot in 4 wheel drive in a snow storm.
