Updates

Dear Friends,

Here are some updates that people have been requesting of me:
  1. Detox Flush- I lasted a week. I'm still planning on doing another detox soon.
  2. My Car - Stop asking me about it already...I ordered it the last week of March...the dealer said that it takes at least 8 weeks to 15 weeks max. Do the math. I still have some time to wait for it. Remember people, it is being made in Japan and then it will be shipped on a boat over here to America.
  3. Ryan's guitar- he finally got it on Sunday. I love it. It looks so good on him. He already had the rock and roll look...so it just looks natural.
Here is the Gibson Les Paul Classic coming home.

Here is Ryan hugging the Les Paul.

How gorgeous is she!! Check out the mother of pearl inlay.

And of course check out her companion...the handsome british VOX.

I think Ryan, Les Paul and Vox will be making beautiful music together.

Strut your mutt

On May 20th, Ryan and I took our doggies to Strut Your Mutt event at Sugarhouse Park.
This is a doggie walk event to raise money for "No More Homeless Pets".

I swear that it was the best time Dolly and Buddy have ever had.
There were so many dogs...I swear the whole park smelled like doggie poop. Anyway...it was for a good cause and my puppies had a blast.

Pride Day in Utah 6-4-06

It is that time of the year when all "Happy" people come out and celebrate & take PRIDE in being Happy!

My work place aka the Bank is sponsoring the Pride Festival and we have a float in the parade. Ryan and I will be decorating the float Saturday night and walking in the parade on Sunday morning.

I can invite any of my friends to participate in the parade. Please let me know if you would like to be part of this great event. Email me or Call me.

Spring Time means No Time for blog

It has been so long since I have written in my blog.

Ryan and I have been super busy getting the yard ready for summer entertaining. We love to BBQ! We have spent the last few weeks cleaning out the veggie garden, planting new veggies, planting a new rose bush, fixing the sprinklers, etc. Some of you probably don't care...but this is the shit you have to do when it gets warm outside and you want your house to look pretty for dinner aka BBQ parties.

Anyway...Ry sent me an email at work a few days ago about this new band called The Raconteurs. Ryan just informed me that raconteurs means "skilled storyteller" in French. Oui Oui. Au courant. Enchante. These are the only french words I know from the movie..."polyester" ...a fine fine john waters film.

The Raconteurs is a side project of my favorite garage and indie rock singers...Mr. Brendan Benson and Mr. Jack White. I still love the White Stripes...even though after their album White Blood Cells...this @$%@^ I know..had to mention to me one day ..."oh yeah I heard that band you like ...white stripes...i like it too...blah blah blah" I have a problem with people who bore me...LIKE the music that I love. White Stripes was ruin for me just for a few months I have to say after that very brief conversation.

Anyway, check out The Raconteurs. I love that song called "steady, as she goes."
